Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can get away with, use it to get your order to you, and never sell it. This page sets out exactly what that means in practice, and what you can ask us to do with your data.

1.Who we are

Dev Ventures sells clothing directly to customers in India through this website, and is registered at G-92, Shastri Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 201002. This policy explains what we do with your personal data when you browse, buy or get in touch.

It applies to this website and to the emails we send you. It does not apply to third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.

2.What we collect

You can browse the whole catalogue without telling us anything about yourself. We collect personal data when you create an account, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, ask to be notified about a restock, leave a review, or contact us. That data includes:

  • Identity and contact details — your name, email address, phone number and delivery address
  • Order data — what you bought, order value, delivery status, cancellations and refunds
  • Payment data — the outcome of a payment and a reference to the transaction, but never your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN
  • Content you submit — product reviews and ratings, and the messages you send us
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and how you move through the site

We never ask for your card PIN, CVV, net banking password or an OTP over email, phone or WhatsApp. If someone claiming to be from our team asks for any of those, it is not us — please report it to us immediately.

3.How we use it

We use your personal data to:

  • Process, pack, deliver and invoice your orders, and handle cancellations and refunds
  • Send transactional messages — order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates, and password or email verification
  • Answer your questions and provide customer support
  • Verify payments and protect against fraudulent or abusive orders
  • Improve the site, fix errors and understand which products and pages are useful
  • Send you marketing emails, but only where you have opted in

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

4.Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Your card, UPI or net banking details are entered on their secure checkout and go directly to them.

We receive only what we need to reconcile the order — the payment status, amount and a transaction reference. We never see or store full card numbers or authentication credentials.

5.Who we share data with

We share the minimum necessary with service providers who help us run the business:

  • Courier partners — your name, delivery address and phone number, so they can deliver your order
  • Payment gateway — the data needed to take and reconcile a payment or issue a refund
  • Email provider — your email address, to send transactional and (where opted in) marketing email
  • Hosting and analytics providers — technical data needed to serve and improve the site

These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

6.Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember what's in your cart, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Some of these are essential — the site cannot work without them.

Analytics cookies help us see which pages and products people actually use, in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site — sign-in and checkout in particular — will stop working properly if you do.

7.How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as we need it. Order and invoice records are retained for as long as tax and company law requires. Account data is kept while your account is open.

Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw them. Data we no longer need is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

8.Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed rather than in plain text, and access to customer data within our team is limited to the people who need it to do their job.

No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority as required by law.

9.Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Access and correct most of your details yourself under Account, including saved addresses
  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or to delete your account and the data we are not legally required to keep
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by writing to us

To exercise any of these, write to info@devventuresinc.com from the email address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.

10.Children

This site is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11.Changes to this policy

We review this policy periodically and will post any updates on this page with a new date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you directly.

12.Contact and grievances

For any privacy question, and for general support, write to info@devventuresinc.com.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, mark your email for the attention of our Grievance Officer at info@devventuresinc.com. We acknowledge grievances within one business day and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
